A.R.C-Activities-Power Station

The station supplies electric power, 175 psig steam, cooling water, plant and instruments air to the refinery offsites and other services as required.

Power Station

The following are the main station equipments:-

1) Four boilers each of 160,000 lb/hr at 600 psig 750 oF equipped with forced and induced draft fans and air heaters.

2) Three 7.5mw turbo generators.

3) Four boiler feed pumps. 4) Four air compressors.

5) Four refinery cooling water pumps.

6) Three station cooling water pumps.

7) Auxiliary pumps and systems.

8) Four evaporators each of 5600 gph distilled production rate.

9) Electrical equipments of control.

- Chlorine injection system to the cooling water bay is provided..3

Power Side View

          - Two fire pumps are available connected to the refinery fire line. Rehabilitation
            of three boilers was carried out with new FD & ID fans, several new equipment
            such as cooling water pumps, BFW pump, air compressors, diesel fire water
            pumps etc were also installed and commissioned. .
