Home : A-Pump Houses
1. Pump House No 1:-
This Pump House receives products such as Gasoline, SRB, Naphtha, Kerosene, Fuel
oil and Slops. Transfer of these products from here to other plants or tanks is
done by the available high tension centrifugal pumps. The fuel oil to refinery
plants is stored here in tank 318 and 319 which are equipped with steam coils.
Transfer of fuel to the units is done by any of the three pumps, two of which
are steam driven.

2. Pump House No 2:-
The main actives of this Pump House are as follows:-
a) Receiving of reformate from the Platformer unit.
b) Receiving of Gasoline and SRB from the CuC1 2 unit.
c) Reciving of Gasoline and SRB from crude units when required.
The addition of tetraethyl lead (TEL) and dye to motor spirit components is done
in this pump house. Motor spirit components are pumped to No. 4 Pump House where
the Mogas final product is prepared and stored before transfer.
3. Pump House No 3:-
This Pump House deals with Gas oil and Fuel Oil fractions ex crude units.
Blending activity for Diesel and Fuel oils is carried out here. The transfer of
these products to vessels for export or to bunkering department at steamer point
is done here using the available high tension pumps via 19 miles of land
pipelines.
4. Pump House No 4:- This Pump House deals with the
Kerosene and Mogas blending activities and transfer. Final products are either
pumped to vessels for export or to Y.P.C. for supply to local market.
5. Pump House No 5:- The cude oil ex vessels is
received into crude oil tanks at this pumphouse and then is pumped to the
refinery. There is a certain storage capacity for Fuel oil in this pumphouse.
Ballast and Bunker facilities are available.
6. LPG Storage & Pump house:-
This area contains LPG spherical tanks and horizontal cylinderical tanks. The
area is equipped with pumping system for circulation, LPG ships and road tankers
loading.
