* To enhance the Aden Refinery Company’s position as one of the internationally accepted and recognized refineries, both as the sole leading refinery and the largest industrial concern in the Republic of Yemen.

* Shouldering the responsibility of securing and meeting the entire needs of the country for all types and grades of petroleum products, and ensuring adequate sea transportation of same to all of the ports around the Yemeni coasts, enabling reach and supply to the remotest areas in the country.

* Ensuring continuous availability of all types/grades of bunker fuels to sea-going vessels passing by the Port of Aden. Also, the bunkering of oil tankers calling the Aden refinerys Oil Harbour facility for loading and/or discharging cargo.

* Maintaining, a safe working practice and ensuring an environmentally friendly code of conduct in all of the Refinery operations and activities throughout.

* Maintaining a good standard of employee welfare and support of general social welfare of the residents of the Al buraikah (Little-Aden) township the existence of which was a result of the existence of the Aden Refinery.
