Refinery Oil Harbour.
The oil harbour was constructed during the period 1952, to 1954, and was
designed
to serve the Refinery for the import of crude oil and the export of refined
products.
Four oil berths were constructed. The oil harbour was originally designed for
32,000 SDWT tanker. In the early 1970s it was updated to accept tankers of up to
65,000 SDWT
part laden (55,000 tons of cargo) by deepening and extending the dredged area.
